ITS Design and Integration
The transportation system is becoming more and more intelligent and connected to UDOT’s Traffic Operations Control room. At Ridgeline consultants we not only provide design for the connected roadways but have experience integrating UDOT assets including, NIDS, Wrong Way Driving Systems, Weigh-in-Motion, Audible Pedestrian buttons and Traffic Cameras.
Intersection Design
Intersection design is the process of creating a safe and efficient space where multiple roadways meet, taking into account the needs of all users. At Ridgeline Consultants we strive to produce designs that reduce the number and severity of crashes by making users aware of each other and predictable. Our designs accommodate all modes of transportation, including pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles. Our design staff has completed hundreds of signalized intersections designs.
Roadway Design
Our roadway design experience ranges from small-scale city engineering assignments to federally funded preservation projects. Ridgeline Consultants has been awarded and designed multiple projects that include roadway widening, barrier design, pavement preservation and drainage design. Projects have been completed both for local agencies as well as UDOT. We are recognized for providing a quality projects on time and within the allocated budget.
Project Management
At Ridgeline Consultants we strive to have all of our staff trained and experience in Project Management. This effort will hopefully translate in providing our clients with a better project as we can help them plan, organize, and control all aspects of their project. We can manage projects for Planning and Scoping, Design and Engineering, Right-of-Way acquisition, Permitting and Approval, Utility Coordination, Construction Management, and Schedule. Our experience can be an asset to most transportation related projects.
